Pixel pitch and viewing distance

Pixel pitch is the center-to-center spacing between adjacent LED pixels. A smaller pitch increases pixel density and supports closer viewing, but it also affects cost, power density and module selection.

Typical pitchCommon starting point
P1.25–P1.56Very close-view premium indoor applications
P1.875–P2.5Retail, museums, corporate and broadcast-conscious projects
P3–P4Larger indoor spaces, stages and longer viewing distances
P4–P10Outdoor, façade and long-distance applications

Procurement checklist

  • Overall width, height, radius or 3D CAD geometry
  • Minimum and typical viewing distance
  • Indoor/outdoor environment and target brightness
  • Front or rear maintenance access
  • Fixed installation or rental use
  • Camera / broadcast refresh-rate requirement
  • Control-system preference and input resolution
  • Installation location, schedule and local compliance needs

Important engineering note

Published ranges are selection guidance, not a final project specification. Exact electrical, structural, thermal and environmental parameters must be confirmed in the approved technical proposal.
